Subject: Question from Russia

Dan, back in 1991-1992, did you happen to show one Russian guy who "came to discover America" a true college hoops rivalry (UCLA vs USC)? You generously invited him to a local sports bar and you guys enjoyed a good game. You explained him what Yankee Doodle Dandy was. That Russian guy's name was Andrei. He helped one group of American actors during their stay in Russia and then went on to travel across the US in 1992. He also happended to meet Ron Kovic that week (Born of the 4th of July)!! That Russian dude is me. I just saw your face on the Army Guy episode for On The Lot aired on FOX and thought that that searge's face looked familiar. I am that Russian dude (no hats or knives swinging :-) of course. If it was you, I just wanted you to know that Russian guy ended up meeting an American girl in Australia and after traveling around the world he settled down in Austin Texas. My e-mail: worldtravel05@hotmail.com and, if you don't have time to reply or if it was not you who had traveled to Russia or showed up for that 92 Bruins/Trojans game - it's OK. Thank you for your time as I know anyone's personal time in showbiz is very limited. Andrei Savkov. From Russia With Love.
