Subject: Joe Bowers accident

Joe was riding a small lift (elevator) at his lakehouse last Thursday when the cable broke and he fell about 12 feet, breaking both legs pretty badly. He had surgery Monday evening at Fayetteville and all went well. He will be off his feet for at least six weeks, and probably have a much longer recovery time before all is okay. I know we all think a lot of him and wanted you all to know what was going on. Not sure when he'll be home, some talk of staying there for a while and rehabbing before getting back to Harrison.
