what the coaches don't know, won't kill them

It is the billet's responsibility to make sure that the players are in the house by curfew. Players were recently disciplined for breaking curfew, including some veterans. Doig would not be allowed to sleep over the entire night at his gf's unless the team is on vacation, like at christmas. Perhaps he goes to see his gf, but he then has to return to the billets house to sleep. Players that break curfew are reported to the coach by their billets.
