Subject: Totton v Alton Town

I was at the game between Totton and Alton this weekend and witnessed a good game of football. Howevere, I was absolutely astonished by the standard of the referee! Having played in and watched countless games of football I have to say this was the worst performance I have ever seen. Some of his decisions were so bad that it was laughable, simple ones that were obvious. Alton suffered more from this but both side were effected by his performce. Totton are a good side and it is hard enough for smaller teams to go their and compete, as Alton did, without being hindered by sunday league standard officals. Well done to both teams for still trying to entertain those that paid to watch.
