Whilst I can't comment on Pitchside's choice for player of the month (Haven't seen Bournemouth since the opening day of the season), I have to wonder how they choose the manager of the month.

Dave Diaper? Off the top of my head I can think of 4 sides who went through January unbeaten, which is more than VTFC.

Bournemouth, Horndean and of course the mighty Fareham - which included a win at VTFC, and 2 wins against Poole and Cowes.

Then of course, there's the likes of Jy Taylor at Ringwood, 1 defeat in the past 4 games and slowly catching up with the rest of the pack ahead of them, Trevor Parker at New Milton - certainly making his team far far harder to beat by all accounts.

In my opinion I'd have thought any of those would be a more deserving candidate for January.
