Subject: Misery at the Cuthbury

Once again we have failed to beat a top six team.There has been little or no progress from last season. Mr Miller goes in the press and talks of promotion, but thats all it is, just talk. We have spent loads of money on the ground and it looks great, but we will be stuck in the Wessex League again, whilst teams around us progress. It will not be easy next season with the likes of Brockenhurst, VT, Poppies and Poole Town all improving. Hopefully we can keep our players with the promise of promotion and a vase run again, although I believe a crop will move on to the Southern League as all believe the Wessex League to a poor standard now and we have again failed. Oh well at least we will win the League cup and salvage something of a poor season. Once again the Cuthbury faithfull turned out bolstered by the Poole Town fans, great atmosphere but it was us who left with our tails between our legs. Mr Miller and Stewart will tell us what a great season we have had, but if we do not win the league next season with Totton gone, it will then time for a few people to step down and give others a chance, some of you have been on the board for a few years now and what have we won, the Wessex League cup wil be no compensation for years of misery.
