Paul, as much as I am sure your knowledge of The Wessex league is vast to be admired, I think that you are being a little short sighted with your thoughts about the awards for Player and Manager of the month for December. There are certain teams that are always going to have good months and inevitably these are the teams that have a larger budget when it comes to paying their squad.This has to be taken into account. I find it dissapointing that you can't understand what an achievement last month was for a club like Alton. They, like some other teams in the league, have to reply on local players playing for the badge and have had to do so since they were promoted to the league. They did'nt lose in December and have the best points average in the division for the month so if opinion is divided mathamaticle fact provales. It is obvious that your thoughts are not shared as you are alone with your critisism.It may prove to be only a one off but it was a deserved one. Lets hope another of the smaller clubs can have as good a January as Alton Town did in December.
