Bluntly said, if you do not eat proteines you will die.

Proteines are the building stones of our body, without them your muscles will go away, basically you fall apart, your heart can beat properly and you cannot breath well. This will, in all honesty only happen if you would not eat proteines for a long time.

In the short run, your hair falls out your nails break and more importantly: proteine is our natural defense against infections. People who have a lack of proteine will get infections quicker, they wont heal easily and they will be worse than for other people. This could be infections in every way, in throat, blather, ears but also on the outside like little injuries, pimpels etc. Also your defence agains non-infection diseases is lower, you will get the flu more easily and it will last longer. this is not so only for underweight people, this is so for everybody. It can also cause fatigue, dizziness, muscle pain and all the usual malaise.

You dont have to be so affraid of proteine, really proteine is the building block that keeps all living creatures (humans animals and plants) alive. In the media there is a lot to do about proteine, telling us we will built a lot of muscle, gain muscle weight etc. This is only so if you would eat a hell lot of it and would exercise too. All these products, like diet products do not do what they promise.

Dont get too frightened over proteines, really, its like the people terrified of carbs, its a fashion hype and all that is said about it is basically not true only if you would eat this in exess (and I really mean exess)

So really, try to get some proteines in your body, by proteine rich veggies or fruit maybe some yoghurt (I actually worship yoghurt, it goes down easily, is very good for your system and the little bit of fat in it is not fat that will stick to your hips).
