Jane and I thought this would be therapeutic...

Help us make a list, identifying all the things in society and the media that annoy the hell out of us for the negative messages they embody. Just post what you'd like to change, and then we could try to analyze what message these things send us about ourselves and women in general.

1.) scales are a horrible thing (Jane--Weight is not a measure of "fatness" but of so many factors: water, hormones, muscle, bones, bowel movements or lack there of )

2.) size 0 jeans should NOT exist (Lara--The size just feeds and enables distorted body images. What do the people behind the clothing lines think-that there are people wearing a size 0 that are not anorexic? come on.)
