hey i'm really sorry your cat ran away =(
that can be a really scary thing, i know....one of my kitties ran away for 2 or 3 days when i was a kid-- and she did come back...how long has she been missing? cats usually do come back when they're hungry. they know by instinct that their owners are their only source of getting food so they sort of have a "radar" that leads them back home. so even if it is missing for a while sometimes they just like to explore and then come back when they need food....also, i'm not sure if he/she is fixed or not but if not he/she could be in heat and looking for some cats of the opposite sex....in any case, i hope to hear back from you to see how it works out, i'm really sorry i know it is scary!! leave your outside light on and maybe sit out there for a while, call her name-or whistle. i'd leave the outside light on all night but i wouldn't recommend leaving food out there-she might just eat it and go out for more exploring. what i do when i call my kitty is tap a spoon on her food dish over and over and she usually will come running....so good luck and I HOPE YOU FIND YOUR KITTY!!! {{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}
