Subject: Potassium and Purging

I have a quick question. I remember Chocolate (I think it is) said that when you are purging, you need to take potassium afterwards. I wondering, as I have been purging at least a couple of times a week now, if a multivitamin would work. I know that a supplement was suggested. But what if I took a liquid vitamin mixed in some water right after? Could I even drink that vitamin water all day long with about the same effect if I wait a while before purging? Also, is there anything that I can do to reduce the acid eating at my teeth? I think I'm being paranoid, but they seem to be a bit more sensitive than they used to be. Sorry for being so depressing, but I am at wit's end here. Hope everyone else is doing well.
