But before the mare could answer she said whle looking sternly into her eyes, "I wish not to offend you in any way but I have heard that in your territory there is an opening for beta mare and I wish to fill it." She suddenly burst into laughter and said, " I am sorry for my boldness but I always wanted a lead position in a teritory and I didn't wanted a chance to slip away." She stood with her eyes a stone cold blue with uncertanty.
