Subject: More Sadness

Well today was my Gramma's funeral, She was 97 years old, and had a really good life. lots and lots of good memories. Traditions carried on through childhood to adulthood. Where to go now? How to carry on those traditions without her, How to start anew. It is never easy to lose a loved one no matter the age. I lost my Mom just 5 months ago. How fresh it was to go through those memories again. So painfully, yes indeed. I am barely over the loss of my Mom and yet again I go through the emotions once again. I sit and think, how simalar my two losses were. Both died on a Saturday, 5 months and 1 week apart. Both were at home, where they wanted and should be. Both were wonderful women who loved and adored thier families. who always put the families they loved so well before them selves. Funerals were held at the same place, same faces gathered except for a few, same cemetary, down the same row. What lessons are there to be learned? I don't know, wished I did. I know that life is so short and often times things go unsaid, I wished there were more time for more hugs and I love you's. If only.............
