An Interview Seminar has been set for Sunday, April 10th at the Averitt Center for the Arts, Downtown Statesboro. The Seminar will begin at 2PM and will last until 6pm. Mid-afternoon sandwiches will be served. Anyone ages 12 - 24 are invited to attend. The charge for this Seminar will be $25 each. This price includes a mid-afternoon snack, SEIS embroidered canvas tote bag, and a SEIS certificate. Please send $25 and RSVP as soon as possible to assure your spot. (Limited space available)
This Seminar will be helpful in many ways. It will give each contestant a chance to practice their Speech & Interview skills, as well as receive helpful information on how to improve on it. Each girl will have a Mock Interview with 3 – 5 judges. The Interview will consist of a 1-minute speech and 5-minute interview. The girls will be judged on Speaking Ability, Poise, Self-Confidence, Information, Dress, Knowledge, & Ability to Communicate. The girls will need to dress as if they were in real Interview. After individual interviews, we will have a conference on tips for Speech & Interview Skills. Information will not be based on any one system, just general Interview Knowledge & Information.

Lauren also received a partial scholarship to join the Valdosta State University Debate team and won an award for her debating skills at the Georgia State competition. In 2004 Lauren won the prestigious V.I.C.A. award for public speaking.
Lauren also is the spokesmodel for the SafeHouse - Macon's Battered Women's shelter and for the Macon chapter American Red Cross. Lauren works at Cox Media where she films commercials and even hosts her own show, "Real Macon Makeovers."
She is the founder and director of Central Georgia Pageant Systems, LLC that produces the Miss Georgia Mid-South Pageant and the Super Role Models Charity.
