Well he isn�t right. You know it, and I know it, and Maria knows it. That�s all that matters.

So Scarth was saying Maria�s name now? That was an interesting development. Maybe the blue did approve of this, in a strange way. Or maybe he just approved of S�peer being nice to Maria, when other men hadn�t been. But either way, it was a step in the right direction. At least ONE of the dragons approved of it.

�I expect so.� S�peer shrugged. �I don�t drink, so I don�t know first hand, but I don�t see why they wouldn�t. Maybe you should try drinking klah occasionally, instead of wine � remember when I met you the first time and you drank that bad stuff?� It was easy to gloss over his alcohol problem, and he had been given long Turns of practise. Even if he still couldn�t go through a day without longing for a drink.
