Lady flares her wings and mock-hisses at Arbol, reprimanding him for his antics when she was trying to stay clean and pretty for the feast. In another moment though, she takes to the air and soars around the weyr, trilling happily. Firelizards don't tend to hold grudges, as is evidenced by her playful demeanor.

A'lan takes a deep breath, grinning and feeling a nervous worry all at the same time. He doesn't like the feeling, like he's tiptoeing across a sea of glass. But he had to say what he was thinking. "A'dian, I've been giving this alot of thought, you see and ever since the flight I was sort of worried. I've always liked you and the flight rather deepened that." He plunges on, afraid that if he stops, his worst fear will come true. "And that's why I wanted to ask you if you'd be my weyrmate permanently. If Hroth would be the only one to fly Vitaliath." It comes out in a rush, and he slows down a bit, trying to ease the speed of the words and the implication. "Hroth agrees, even though he's a grump, he wants to fly no one but her, and I want the same thing. If...if the flight infatuation has worn off for you, of course...that's why I didn't want to ask for a few days, to give it time, see."

He stands in uncharacteristic uncertainty, Lady's antics making him smile for one distracted second before his countenance is once again fixed on A'dian, hopimg.
