Author: K’rea {Neroath}
Subject: No bronze… but will a pesky bluerider do?
In reply to: Maria(Myth) 's message, "Hatred is Thicker than Blood Definitely" on 16:43:18 03/01/06 Wed

Very gently, silently, the door to Maria’s weyr swung open. In the small crevice he’d made, a boy of barely 15 turns sidled in, his face pale and his eyes shining in worry. Of course, K’rea came as soon as he heard about his mother’s involvement in a flight—either to fight the greenrider off or (more likely, he had to admit) to console her.

Taking tentative steps closer to Myth, he looked to the door, where a smallish blue hatchling poked his head through. With the comfort of his beautiful blue Nero, K’rea stepped closer, and made sure Myth saw him as he walked around the blue for a way to his mother. Gently, he stepped around the blue’s limbs, and put a hand on his mother’s shoulder before settling on the couch next to her, kneeling so that he could hold her like he had when he was child.

“Mom…” he whispered softly, and if she let him, he hugged her close to him, feeling tears in his eyes. He’d seen his mother so depressed, and it scared him, as little-kid-like as it was. He’d never admit to being as girly as to crying in front of the boys, of course, but with Maria he knew he could show his tears, too.

((Have to stop here for fear of power-playing… hope I haven’t crossed the line too much, and if so, then feel free to change anything I put in here, kay? ^^;; ))
