FROM THIS POINT ON I WILL NOT BE FORWARDING EMAILS THAT ARE NOT MUSIC RELATED.

Things I will happily forward to the listserv:
- Music Dept announcements (concerts, recitals, etc.)
- Music organization announcements (KKY, TBS, Delta Omicron, etc.)
- Other music-related posts I consider appropriate (you can try sending stuff to me, but if I'm not going to forward it, I'll let you know!)

Things you should post on the message board:
- Football tickets (have or want)
- Class stuff (projects, surveys, etc.)
- Service activities (blood drives, fundraisers, etc.)
- Apartment stuff (subleases, roommate requests, yard sales, etc.)
- Social Events (that crazy "milk and cookies" party you're having at your place this weekend...)
- Whatever else

As of this moment, YOU FOLKS ARE THE ONLY ONES WHO KNOW ABOUT THIS BOARD - and I'd like to keep it that way. It is not connected to our website, and it never will be. Hopefully, that will keep the opposing teams, rabid students, and (some) spammers out.

So...don't go giving this address away! (I'm gonna be pissed if I see it on TechSideline.com!) Nobody needs to see this message board but us.

I'll be acting as a moderator - sneaking around and making sure the board stays clean. If I find anything inappropriate, I'll edit/delete it without warning.

Inappropriate stuff includes:
- SPAM
- Negative comments (if you didn't see the posts on the current MV message board and MV guestbook after the WVU band/jumbotron incident, you probably don't know what I mean)
- Anything else I consider inappropriate

A few other thoughts:
- Don't post private info about yourself - yes, this board is hopefully private, but this is the internet. AIM and email is probably ok, but keep your phone numbers and addresses to yourself!
- Email me if you need any help (like you posted something you don't want on here and you want me to get rid of it)

Remember, this board is for all of you. If you don't want to look at it, fine. If you want to use it all the time, fine. But please don't abuse it. I know this band - you folks are amazing, and I'm probably saying all this for nothing.

Here's hoping this board works!
