The UFO Capitol of the North East
Home of the "Alfie" the Alien Hide & Seek

Saturday April 30 2011 9:00am - 10:00pm Rain or Shine!

Event Schedule as of December 2010

Hide & Seek: 9:00am – 6:00pm – Town-wide
Locate ‘Alfie’ in each participating merchant’s location and receive a ticket. Collect the required number of tickets and receive a free ice cream cone from Stewart’s located on the corner of Route 52 & Boniface Dr. While you are there enter to win a Merchants Gift Basket.

Children’s Art Show Mitchell Performing Arts Center
Artwork will be on display throughout the day. Winners will be chosen in several age groups. Overall winner’s artwork will be the official logo [along with “Alfie”] for next year’s UFO event.

Costume Parade: 3:00pm – Main St onto Boniface Dr. (Pre-Rgistration is required)
Join us for some “Out of this World” floats, vehicles, spaceships and whatever! Decorate your bicycle and join in on the fun! Costumes or a Galactic theme are required for this event so get those creative juices flowing. Prizes in several categories will be awarded at the end of the parade.

Children’s Activities 9:00am - 6:00pm
A variety of activities will be available throughout the day to entertain the kids including a clown bounce house, alien slime game and alien face painting. Locations: Main St., Boniface Dr. and Valley Supreme Plaza. (not all activities at all locations)

Speaker Schedule & Panel Discussion: 9:00am – 6:00pm Crawford Town Hall
For the true “Ufologists” there will be a group of local speakers who will share their stories and experiences with you, including the rich history surrounding the Pine Bush area. A panel discussion will follow with a Q&A session.

Earthlings and Aliens Ball: 7:00 – 10:00pm Catholic War Veterans Social Hall
After all is said and done for the day, the adults will have a chance to gather for some 50’s/60’s music and cosmic socialization. Costumes are optional for this event. Light refreshments will be served. Optional cash bar available.

Children’s Bike Rodeo (time & place tbd) Crawford PBA
Kid’s will learn safe riding habits while perfecting their rodeo skills! Afterwards they can decorate their bikes and join in on the parade.
