no, it wasn't alyssa. She was a college student from jersey living in atlanta for a semester. real cute girl..totally shouldnt have been with him. a lot of the guys on the team use to try to get with her, but for some reason she was all about dany. last i heard from her myspace they were still friends but she was engaged to a flyer

Anyways, you are entitled to your opinion as is everyone else, but why bother. Did you ever think that these girls may not care if they are talked about in the locker room? Maybe they're just out for an easy lay like the guys. You never know right? It's okay for guys to chase after girls, but it's a double standard or what? just wondering if any of you have had any experience with a married guy. i didn't know he was married when we were together --no ring and i didnt ask. i'm really into him, but found out --thanks to google--that he is married and has a child. i haven't confronted him yet, and was hoping maybe someone could give me some advice on what to do? i feel so awful, but at the same time can't stop thinking about him

I also unknowingly hooked up with a married guy. Your best bet is to forget about him... its not like he's going to leave his wife for you and an affair (should he actually want to be with you again) would be very bad karma. As of right now don't feel bad about it, it wasn't your fault he didn't come right out and say he was married... and you shouldn't have to ask. To get over it... just think about what kind of man he truly is if he's cheating on his wife, eventually the lust and attraction you have towards him will fade. Unless he comes to you... don't bother confronting him... I'm sure he knows the kind of man he is and doesn't need to be told. Look forward and a single man worthy of your attention will come along.

I used to think that you "shouldn't have to ask" if a player is married/engaged/dating...my thought was if he's hitting on me than he's single...WRONG! I've heard and seen too many times that the non-single will mingle, my past assumption was off.

This is now my conclusion...if you want the guy and don't want the guilt of knowing you're doing something wrong than don't ask...you can always say after the fact, I didn't know and just assumed... If you TRULY don't want to be "the other woman" than ask. Possible he'll lie and again after the fact you can say your clean, but he may tell the truth...if you walk away GOOD FOR YOU!

I was in the same situation...i found out i was with a married man...actually from these boards....and he has a kid....and from what everyone on these boards say is that he is this awesome father and husband. So of course that makes me feel even better(sarcastic)...but then i have to tell myself..he came up to me at the club....and i had no idea..it wasn't like i initiated the situation....but i have to say..it stays in the back of my mind...but i really feel for the wife...poor thing....ohh and don't get me wrong..i still do feel bad...

I understand where you're coming from but, truly, why feel guilty? He willingly strayed. He obviously doesn't like his woman that much if he's willing to risk it for something quick or something more. I've cheated and been cheated on and it's not the end all be all. It sucks but one moves on and honestly, if it wasn't you it was going to be another woman so have fun with what you've got and what you can get.

Let's face it. These guys lie to their wives/girlfriends as well as other women so its just hard to tell sometimes. Getting to know one of them over the period of a few weeks or months doesn't necessarily help either bc their friends and teammates back them up if they dont tell the truth. So its hard to know if you don't have connecetions back home or something.

I was told one thing initially and questioned others only to have them back up the hp who said he was single. I didn't sleep with him right away but several weeks after we talked on the phone almost every day and hung out some. We talked alot and had alot of fun doing things around town so it seemed to me we had a decent relationship although I didn't want to be serious knowing he could have to leave at any time and I was in school. Things didn't work out with us bc we just sorta drifted off in other directions over the last 2 months of the season and I started seeing someone else but the next season he showed up married and confessed that he'd been engaged fduring the time we were together. By then I didn't really care that much bc I wasn't interested anymore and I never ran into him but one time I did ask him why he lied and he just said that he liked me so much and didn't think I'd be with him if I knew. He was right! I have a feeling there are many similar situations out there too but thats my story of dating a hp who was cheating at the time.

He's married. That means that he is unavailable. Get out. If you didn't know at the time then it is not your fault. However, if you continue to sleep with him knowing he is married, that makes you a homewrecker. Is that what you want? He has a family. Even if there are problems in the marriage, it is their marriage and their problems to solve. Find a new available guy.

Hey, I know this is an old post but I used to be a puck bunny I'm reformed. It took me four years to get reformed BTW so please girls be careful. Its fun, but when the fun ends you end up feeling guilty. Heres the thing about a married HP - DON'T FEEL GUILTY he's the one who didn't tell you and he could have. Just don't go back no matter what. You'll feel empowerment saying no, trust me I didn't for a LONG time and when I finally said no it was awesome.

I am a huge fan of Jordin Tootoo. I had no idea who he was until 2 years ago. I found his story in ESPN the Magazine. I think he is really hot. There are some steamy pics that he did for a suimsuit edition of a magazine called Nashville Scene. I must say that I like this board better than the other trashy one that I visited today.
