*The stallion too seems to relax, if only slightly, and moves a bit away, as if he were only shifting his weight. He was never afraid of the mare, although experience will teach him to wise up and respect their space more. He develops the headset of a dressage horse, if only for a moment, and watches the sleek mare out of his two kohl-lined eyes, his mane shifting over his crest. He listens to her story in silence, his movements dropping close to those of a stalk. His pattern becomes a wide, shallow half-circle around the mare. Although his attention is on her, his nerves are pricking his skin in the way that makes hair rise. He strikes the ground aggressively with a forehoof sharply, whirling to face the mare. He is a rather high-strung creature, but ventures to her side, hopefully not having unnerved her with his strange behavior.* Daughter of Ehab. Neither of your parents were Ehab. *He grins faintly.* Where are they now, if I may ask...
