Subject: Femina ingresses

The femina ingresses, the simple debut of one grown older. A hesitation, merely a pause in the ever-present stream of life, than the form continues, purely poetry in motion.

the river whispers softly now,
the willows weep their sorrow song,
the aspen leaves drift slowly down,
now that summer's dead and gone

summer blush of rosy bloom
autumn beauty wells and fades,
leaves dancing in sorrow fall,
red, orange, and amber shades

still she stands, alone this time,
watching seasons turn
she has watched spring come and go
still she stands, and never learns

as the snow falls in the winter,
the summer sun yet shines
and as the autumn leaves yet fall,
returning life, spring shows it's sign

and yet she stands, by the brook,
watching seasons turn
summers come, and summers go,
still she stands, and never learns
