Nostrils flared, taking in the three different smells, ears detecting the sounds of danger. The large Appaloosa trots nearer to the comotion. From the top of a small incline, Pharoah observes Black Magic, then he takes in the rest of the situation. Twisting hooves of stone into the ground and resting slightly on hind legs, the steed is ready to protect his kind, he knows better than any. Isolation, regardless of the equin's spirit, is an invitation to danger.
