Subject: 2nd Recce

Well with now just under a year to go the second recce to complete the route is being driven as we type!

A little 4x4 is driving up and down mountain ranges between here and Mount Olympia in Greece then to the finish back up in Italy. The Transfagarasan Pass will be mapped and I am sure a timed section will be slipped in to make use of the fantastic 100 odd kilometre road.

I can almost hear Carol shouting "slow down" to Peter as he rings the last ounce of power from that diesel engine!

The route looks amazing and as rallies, sorry tours go it will take some topping.

If you are thinking of doing it now is the time to sign up..

Rumour also has it the route is amazing the finish is going to be very rewarding, but the starting and signing on point will a “petrol heads” mecca.

Looking forward to seeing anyone in Angoulême next weekend. September 16, 17 & 18th
