Hi Guys, just to let you know you will have no problems at borders with no green card (they are very dated so much so most insurance companies won't issue them) I have driven to Mongolia via some very supposedly dodgey countries such as Iran, Turkey, Moldova and the other two infamous war ridden countries and I had no green card, most are buy at the border (insurance) a small hut on the other side of the crossing. Nothing to worry about :)
