Dear All
Following the first highly successful recce for the Madrid � Vila Real � Madrid Sportscar Challenge 2014 completed last September, we are about to embark on the second route check. We think you will be pleased with the hotels we have secured for the event. As always they have secure parking and this year most of them also have spa facilities (should you have time to use them!).
Please see the website www.guildofmotorendurance.co.uk for photographs of some of the hotels and special tests, including an action video to whet your appetite.
The entry list is looking good, with all the usual suspects plus some brave souls who are returning following the 2012 London Athens event. We have entries from Germany, the Netherlands, Finland and Australia joining us and several in the pipeline (including Stef & Eddie who are threatening to post their entry imminently!).
We are still open for entries should you feel yourself wavering � go on, you know you want to!
Scrutineering will take place late afternoon/evening on Saturday 17th May followed by the prologue to determine the start order for the following day. For those of you arriving too late to take part in the prologue � don�t panic � there are no penalty points involved for failure to participate (honestly....).
From feedback received, entrants are arriving from all directions to the start in Madrid. The start hotel is in the Soto Del Real area of northern Madrid, full details of the Rally Headquarters start/finish hotel will be sent to entrants prior to the start of the event with the final instructions.
The Marshalls are all primed and ready to go � Dick has oiled his leather shorts already!
