Hi Marc, so after your experience in the Sylva Riot with Ian last year you need a bit of comfort do you. The twin turbo engined Noble M12 may be a super car, but isn't it a bit over the top for endurance events. OK it's a hand built specialist sportscar so it's eligible, but give me the Riot any day (preferably with a clutch).

As far as ground clearance goes, I'd be surprised if the Noble was any lower than Franky's Exige black beauty. That thing seems to go anywhere (wherever Enric points!)

Regarding the road conditions, yes as with all endurance events most of the route will be tarmac. Odd link sections in remote places of unmade road do get used now and again though (as long as it's good enough for an ordinary road car to use).

There has been one memorable exception were the road surface was washed away between the recce and the event. See the video:
