An excellent event - thanks to the organisers and (unfortunately soggy) marshalls for your efforts.

It was a fantastic way to run the event, with two car teams instead of all competing against each other.

I can't wait until next year's track event - hint!

Now that I have a little experience with the format, I think that I'll make less mistakes. Like not writing down the time of the in-lap and so only getting 4 recorded laps and not 5. Or getting caught up enjoying an overtaking manoeuvre when I should have been coming in to the pits.

I just wish I'd had time for some photography too, there was lots of good action into the hairpin in the wet, with a drier line wide round the corner sometimes being faster than the short way round.

Overall a Grand Day Out - and I hope to do it again soon !
