I'm surprised that any of the higher powered cars finished to be honest - there was a high likelihood of stuffing it into the scenery in the rain if you weren't really gentle.

It was amazing to see the difference that a decent chassis would make, with the Europa out-cornering the production smart.
OK my (gold) smart had 118000 miles on it after the event, but it was still a revelation to see how it should have handled.

The only video I've seen of our smarts is Al's heavily modified red one being overtaken rather a lot, at one point even with hazards on !

I hope the list of damage that Peter posted wasn't too expensive for you all not to want to do this again.

I thoroughly enjoyed the event.

Despite being covered in oil (I think it was Rob's Westfield) to the point where we couldn't see out of the windscreen in the closing laps.

I look forward to next year.
