Yet more thanks to Peter and Carol for their organisational skills and putting up with all of us!

Also to the marshalls who may well have had a harder rally than us this year!

Comiserations to Wyn and Gordon on their mechanical issues on the last day when running first and also their spirit for keeping going in terrible conditions and making it to the end.

Congratulations to fellow Lotus owners Clive and Ces for their win - if you were only 2 seconds slower on the track mate... ;-)

As Peter touched on during his post rally speech - I think the event has changed in it's 10 year history. I don't think this should be looked at as something to be frowned upon, just that the difficulty has been increased.

My hat goes off to the Lager brothers for coming all the way from Sweden and showing just how impressive a bike engine home-built seven can be. Also to the boys in the Healey for setting a great time on SP2 on bald tyres!

These 2 cars show that it is still possible to mix it with the more modern production cars and whilst there is no argument that the Lotuses/TVR's etc are more "everyday" cars - this doesn't mean that the rally is easier. (We had brake problems this year making running repairs on day 3 plus last year we changed an alternator on the sunday night in the hotel car park!)

Finally, congratulations to my teammates in Team Lotus Spain for winning the team title - we hope to all be there next year to defend our crown ;-)
