Richard, pleased you like the Six Hour concept. Should be a pleasant social get together. On the other hand it may feel more like a day on a Sportscar Challenge with 24 controls, only concentrated into just six hours.

Sorry about the Sylva team being left off the entry list, Carol didn't think Spike would be able to find Leicestershire, let alone Kirby Mallory.

As for switching the Black Beast for something reliable, don't even think about it. I have already had a dig at Jon Ison (blade engined Locost Team) for making out their fan club hospitality suite caravan, strategically positioned in the paddock, would really be a high tech workshop bristling with spare Honda engines.

"as we fly into the pits to change brakes, suspension, exhaust, clutch....... ;-)))"

Which is an opportunity for me to mention a except from item 12 of the 6H regulations: "Work on cars in the pits is restricted to the checking or replenishing of oil, coolant, brake fluid, and tyre pressures. Any repairs or the replacement of components such as brake pads or assemblies must be carried out in the paddock." You see Richard, your taking part was anticipated.

Peter
