My name is Brooklyn Funk and I am four years old. I live in Missouri and until recently I competed in many national pageants with all of you. This website was set up to help a cause that is important to me. My uncle Logan lives in the small town of Wellsville, KS and he and his community need our help! I have witnessed first hand the kind of good deeds that can be done when our pageant community comes together and I am hoping each of you can open your hearts to this worthy cause. The town of Wellsville can be best described as "Smalltown, USA". I am sure you all know towns like this; small towns with no restaurants, or fast food establishments. One or two gas stations, and a friendly community. That's Wellsville. The kids of Wellsville, KS are at a bit of a disadvantage. Their community recreational sports facilities are not exactly what you would call "up-to-par". My uncle Logan wants to change that. Logan is a 14 year old high school freshman with a lot of drive and ambition. He enjoys sports and wishes there was a place for him and his friends to play a game of hoops in the community. He has set out to build a full size regulation basketball court in this small town. With a price tag of $8000.00 on this project, Logan has set his goals high! When my mom and I heard of Logan's project, we wanted to help in anyway we knew how.
