>>Elf Child breathed in the air to fill her lungs,
>>earging herslef not to cry. TOday was a big day for
>>her, she had decided that today would be her choosing
>>day, the day where she and a mare would bond and then
>>she would have a new mummy.
>>The sight of the mothers and their foals made her sad
>>yet happy and she didn't understand it, she was one
>>that liked her own way and not understanding was not
>>her way.
>>The sun light was warm on her coat and it soothed her
>>nerves slightly making it easier to breath. The light
>>reflected off her honey brown coat making her appear
>>as either an elusive trap from the darq or a beautiful
>>angel from the light when infact she was neither. As a
>>neglected, lost child she had made up her mind clearly
>>to be a rebel.
>>She felt the grass beneath her hooves and it tickled,
>>forcing her to laugh, wich must have sounded strange
>>to others around because she had started crying
>aswell.
>>Having a rejected feeling in her heart she turned to
>>food and started sniffing and grazing on the grass
>>hoping it would fufill her requirements. Although it
>>tasted seet and fresh like none she had ever had, it
>>didn't leave her feeling full, she still felt empty
>>and that a part of her was missing.
>>The sounds of birds in trees and other animals
>>scampering about did not make her happy today as they
>>usual did. Today the world sang a sorrowful song to
>>her ears to suit her mood.
>>"Could anybody love a little winged horse?" she asked
>>the trees and flowers as she passed them, acting as
>>though they could really hear her.

The sounds of another horse starteled the filly, and at first she thought it was the gods telling her that she was destined to live alone, so loud was the clatter of falling rocks and stones coming loose from the cliff. But as she lifted her head to where the noise came from ready to face her doom, the sound changed from anger to calm as she saw that it was a mare not an angry serpent or demon of a kind. The world became silent to her ears and all she could do was stair at the beauty of the mare.
Elf Child's eyes became glazed as she stared at the mare, for she had never set eyes upon such a mezmerizing sight and it put her in a trance. She was now sure that it was no demon, unless it was one of beauty to betray the thoughts, but mostly she was sure that this must be a fallen angel and that she needed direction back home.
Her skin tingled as the smell of the mare drifted down in the wind, and the filly thought it was homely yet some how out of this world. The taste of adventure rested in her mouth as she licked her lips, to clean herself for company.
The filly got to her feet and knickered to the fairy like mare in greeting. Her body filling with the familiar feeling of bubbles of excitment that burst.
