. cunnan swiftly pulled away, posture remaining low and submissive. lobes lay flat to the skull, nervous, jittery look about him. at the raise of voice and tone, he shrunk back even more so, orange globes dimming. he had known it all along; he'd been gone too long to be forgiven. gaze diverted to the shadows from which he had come, speculating the quickest escaping route. vision was obaured, as tears were glazing his eyes .
