He keeps Sunshine warm (lol) and then when Flame annouces his hunger he pounces up and leaves, soon about 2 hours a sound of thunder is heard, and then 4 large elk 2 bucks a mother and her foal come into the laying area. First Summer Flame jumps up a tree and then lands onto the mare elk killing her. The baby runs off but Summer Flame doesn't notice. He jumps side to side intemidating the bull elk the call to their herd but no answer except for the baby. He growls and one buck jumps into the water swimming to the other side. The river wide it will take him awhile to cross so summer flame nails the other buck it falls to the ground he tears at his neck but is thrown off...as the buck rises it disappers into the brush along with SF chasing him...with a quick farewell to Sunshine and telling the pups to stay around her and wait until he gets back....
