WARD CLOSURES.....
Thursday, 26 March 2009

Gwent Healthcare NHS Trust are currently experiencing a number of ward closures due to an increase incidence of patients and in some areas, staff with diarrhoea and/or vomiting. In order to protect sick and vulnerable patients, the Infection Prevention and Control Team would respectfully ask that visiting is restricted at this time.....

If it is really important that you visit, please contact the ward prior to your visit and speak to the nurse in charge about the appropriate precautions to be followed during your time on the ward. You may be asked to wash your hands with soap and water.

Children should not visit at this time unless urgent.
