Rising sea levels around South FloridaThis map of Southern Florida is colour coded as follows-
RED = areas that will be under the sea if the sea level rises by just 5 meters (17 feet)
yellow = built up areas.
So this isn`t just a British problem! The whole world will look very different by 2100! Happily the 3rd world will suffer the most because of this global warming phenonimum but it will adversely affect us too. Scientists say that if the world heats up enough and the whole Antarctic ice melts then the sea levels would rise by 270 feet! Of course that scenerio will not be fully in place for several hundred years but what kind of Earth are we leaving for our childrens children?
The problem-rising global poulation means rising human activity,hence more green houses gases rising into our athmosphere to stop heat escaping into space.
