Many of my favorite memories are songs: Dream Lover, Moments to Remember, Dream, In the Still of the Night, Theme from A Summer Place, and more. If you have to ask who sang them, you're too young. Others: The Senior Class trip to Bear Mountain on a Hudson River dayliner, Albanese's pizza, the smell of fresh cut grass coming through the window in Mr. Sloan's class toward the end of the school day in spring. Put a Tiger in your tank (Esso) and Trust your car to the man who wears the star (Texaco). They say you're old when you quote prices that were: Clark bars for 5 cents, Nathan's hot dogs at 10 cents each and a bag of crinkle cut fries for a nickel, and a Good Humor bar for a dime from the ice cream man.
