The most memorable summers were 1964/65 - I was a buss boy at the then private Vernon Hills Country Club - There must have been about 15 of us. To mention a few classmates who worked there with me - Shorty Spencer - Wayne Clark - Johnny Coco - Tommy Quinn - Jimmy Papa - Steve Pelligrino - Richie Connors - John and Paul Tortolani - Vic Milano - there were about 6-8 more who lived in Mt. Vernon...With that many guys working together you could not help but have a great time...
