I live in Atlanta. The kids here have been out of school all week and will also be out tomorrow and then again on Monday, 1/17, for MLK Day. Aside from word of mouth, etc., they are notified by television. Since Sunday night, the local network stations have been running school, business and government closings at the bottom of the TV screen all day every day. My driveway is all ice and I haven't been out since last weekend. I hope to make it out tomorrow.
