Lazar's Hardware had been at it's location going back to my childhood. They had a major fire and rebuilt the building. I believe the fire was in the late 1980's. I'm pretty sure it is an ACE Hardware store today. Also, I see Albanese restaurant was called Albanese-Scarsdale, we all know it was in the North End of Eastchester. Many homes and businesses in the North End had Scarsdale mailing addresses.
