Sure, I remember him Muko as well as Joe Pine (Pyne?) another early talk show which broke ranks from the Mike Douglas's and Merv Griffins of the day. I believe Burke had a favorite saying when he disagreed with a guest which was "You sir, are an idiot!" There's also a story about Joe Pine, who had a wooden leg due to a WWII injury, had a young Frank Zappa on the program and was getting on Zappa's case about the (then) new look of long hair. He said something to the effect of "If you have long hair I guess that makes you a girl" to which Zappa replied "Since you have a wooden leg I guess that makes you a table."..... and you wonder why I was such a wise ass in school?
