Whenever possible, I schedule a massage after tennis, handball, or other strenuous exercise. It reduces/alleviates the lactic acid buildup. Walking 3 miles every morning, weather permitting, and working out on my Bowflex machine also help reduce the aches and pains after sports or even heavy lifting when moving things in the house. I enjoy doubles tennis much more than singles and always did.
