APPALACHIAN FESTIVAL QUEEN & TEEN

Sunday, August 14 in Beckley at the beautiful campus of Mountain State University
2 sets of judges, 2 sets of awards
Every contestant will have a chance to win 1 of the 2 official WVAFF state titles and go on to represent one of these awesome festivals!
Events - Photogenic, Interview, Casual Streetwear, Evening Gown and On-Stage Interview.
Awarding large crowns, custom Jesse Marsh sashes, large trophys, custom crown pins, Official Festival Satin Jackets and more.
Awarding $500 cash scholarship to Miss Classic and Appalachian Queen.
Awarding $250 cash scholarship to Miss Teen Classic and Appalachian Teen.
Every contestant receives a custom garment bag with matching gift tote, large trophy, crown pin and more.
SPECIAL GUEST - JESSICA HOLLEY, 2005 WVAFF STATE FAIR QUEEN
(Beckley Miss Classic 2004) will be on hand to crown our royalty.

I have received several emails with questions pertaining to the pageant.
This is a one day pageant with Registration & Practice at Noon the day of the pageant (August 14th).
No need to stay over night or miss practice if you have plans for August 13th.
As the contestant's entry forms are received in office, an official registration packet will be sent out by priority mail. Some of the material listed in the registration packets are the schedule for the day of pageant, directions to the pageant site, recommendations for attire, what the lunch menu will be and the questions that will be used for the On-Stage Top 12. You don't know which of the questions you will receive, but you will have time to familiarize yourself with all 6 of them.
Your position in the line up is determined on when your entry is received. Those first paid in have choice, last paid in goes out first.
The deadline of July 30th will NOT be extended. All entries must be received IN OFFICE by that date NOT postmarked by that date.
We run a very well organized pageant with beautiful awards. Having the entries in sooner will make for a better pageant for everyone.
The young woman will compete one time for 2 sets of judges. 2 Miss Queens and 2 Teen Queens will be crowned!!
