Agreed. I like the idea that they're putting their bottoms on the line to get out of trouble.

Did you see the one with a girl named Trina? She has a round little bottom and they strap it soundly. She's yelling, "oh fuck!" while she's getting it, and she has tears in her eyes when it's over. You can tell by the way she's rubbing and crying that she paid the price.
