Thank you, Gary -- I hope people won't think I'm hogging your board! I will do whatever I can to bring more traffic here -- I think this has such promise for a lot of fun and lively exchange.

I discovered Shadow Lane in 1996, and went to my first Shadow Lane party in 1997. I remember watching the stars like Keith Jones and Ralph Marvell from afar -- such crushes I had! Ralph and I befriended each other a couple of parties later, and then in August 1999, the two of us did a ballroom scene at the Palm Springs party. I had played in front of others before, and liked it, but this was such a rush -- a huge crowd gathered, and when we were done, we got applause. I thought, you know, I kinda like this attention. :-) An attention hog was born.

That same weekend, I approached Tony Elka and Butch Simms at Sunday brunch, and asked if maybe I could shoot for them sometime. Luckily, they'd seen the scene with Ralph and me, and I guess they liked it, because they took my email info, and a week later, I heard from Eve Howard. When I found out that I was shooting my first video with them in January 2000, with KEITH JONES, no less, I almost fell off my chair.

It's that easy to work with them -- many of their performers were party-goers and customers first, who approached them and expressed interest. I'll always be grateful that they were willing to use a 40-something woman -- that's practically unheard of in this industry, unless she's a domme.
