Subject: It has happened to us, and at 6 years old my daughter told the real winner congrats and that was that. The directors offered to give us another crown and banner and my (again 6 year old) said for what, I didn't win. I her "poor we excuse of a mother" never had to make a decision, She did what's right. Guess that's my poor parenting skills🤷🏾‍♀️
In reply to: 's message, "No you dont leave and say oh well moron. The directors should call a private meeting between the two contestants and their parents and come to a decision that equally respects both contestants ! How would you like it if your daughter was called queen and then moments later the title ripped from her ok n stage. Pretty sure you would be upset too and if you wouldnt be you are a sad excuse for a parent." on 02/10/19 9:38pm

  • My Lord, these kids didn't have a college scholarship ripped away from them! It is literally a $5 crown and probably the worse banners I have EVER seen. Calm down! Miscalculations have happened before, it's been handled in the same manner before. I hate to see how you people act when actual real life crises happen! (NT) -- No name, 02/11/19 1:32am
  • So you wanted the directors to pull both Moms together and have one of them have to be the bad guy? Then you people could say the Jaycees didn't handle it at all. The Mom of the girl that didn't win, should have graciously given the items back, because her daughter DID NOT WIN! In no way, shape or form, should the winner's Mom not have fought for her daughter to leave with the awards SHE WON! (NT) -- No name, 02/11/19 7:38am
