August 9th, 2008 at the VERY nice Hampton Inn Conference room in Corinth, MS we'll be having a pageant. Registration will begin at 1:30 to 2:00 for the first age group. All contestants will be called with their definite registration and pageant times. Sunday's best or pageant wear for 2-18 year olds. Cute casual clothes for girls 0-23 months. Girls 2-18 years old may participate in the formal/dress competition and Girls 0-23 months will compete in most photogenic.

We've chosen the most photogenic route for the youngest age group because it's easier on the judges, babies, and moms involved. Very young children often get frustrated with being changed into and out of clothes and can get fussy, so doing it this way alleviates that situation, allows things to move a bit quicker and more smoothly, and keeps mom from being consumed with the worries of her baby crying and perhaps getting a lower score because of it.

Girls 0-23 will need to submit a photo via email that's no smaller than around 5x7, but can be larger since I'm able to scale it down. If you want to mail a photograph to me, it MUST be no smaller than 5x7 and no larger than 8x10 and will be returned the day of the pageant. They may be dressed in whatever attire in the photo. You'll need to contact me for a mailing address after you've paid you're entry fee. The 0-23 month olds will be awarded the same as the older groups and are eligible to participate in the Hi Point Ambassador competition as well. The photos are being judged on how beautiful the judge feels the contestant is, picture quality (how clear and nice it is), and how photogenic the child is. Picture retouching is allowed. The 0-23 month olds MUST still come to the pageant to be awarded and to show off how cute they are even though no points will be given for their attendance since they will have already been scored on their pictures.

Awarding a Queen, 1-3rd alternates, and Hospitality Queen. A Hospitality Queen is the contestant with the most supporters 5 years old and over who pay to come see and support them at the pageant. Must have at least 3 supports who are 5+ yrs old to qualify for entry. Every contestant will be awarded something ON STAGE regardless of whether they placed or not. They're winners regardless, so moms PLEASE DON'T go undress them immediately after the court is named. They will be called back on stage and given the honor they deserve too.

I'm ONLY accepting 10 entries per age category due to venue size.. That will certainly increase your odds of winning. The cost to enter is $20 for 2-18 year olds and $15 for the 0-23 month old photogenic pageant. I will take 5 door entries, BUT you'll have to pay a $10 late fee and you MUST call me to let me know you're planning to use this option.

The 0-23 month olds are eligible for Hi Point Ambassador participation as well. I won't accept any entries after July 31. The day of the pageant I will accept ONLY 5 door entries on a first come first serve basis. The entry fee will be $30 the day of the pageant due to a $10 late fee charge. If you want to enter the pageant but you know payment won't arrive in the mail in time or you want to enter online, you may fill out the form and paypal $21 (2-18 yr olds) or $16 (0-23 months) entry fee to me at dazzlingpageants@yahoo.com. The extra dollar is to cover paypal's fees. You also may pay a deposit of $11 if you're entering the 2-18 year old divisions of. The $10 balance will be due online or the day of the pageant when you sign in.
