I am considering the MBA program at Hopkins along with others and I am wondering about the reputation that it has in professional circles. Granted it is a fairly young program so I wouldn't expect it to me mentioned in the same breath with Wharton, Stanford, or Harvard; but there is some clout to the Johns Hopkins name so I'm curious how well the degree is received when its time to shop yourself around.

Thanks in advance,

Michael Morris

I graduated from Hopkins in 99 with a business degree. It was fine and I got a good job. Howrver, Hopkins is no Wharton or Stanford. You will be making a substantial investment in time and money, buyer beware. Hopkins is very average.

I would contact the Dean of the Hopkins Business program for more information before you decide.

Look I love it here at JHU, but JHU MBA is not even American or George Washington, if employment prospects is whatr you mean. I was not accepted to GW or UMCP so I went to JHU, and I don't regret it, but look elsewhere if a big job is your goal.
