Most of the Almonds pictured in this album were born and bred in Yorkshire particularly
the North Riding now reduced to being known as North Yorkshire (still doesn't sound right!)
As there are lots of Almonds around the world they will find it helpful to know which 'clutch' this is.

Allow me to introduce myself, I am Annette, daughter of Sheila Ann, who was the daughter of Harry Almond.�
I really hope this board is a success as there is lots I would like to learn about the family.
Through my life I have known all of Thomas Almond's (1851-1927) children, especially my Grandfather, Great Aunts Edith and Alice and Great Uncle Harold (Thomas Harold) My Great Aunt Alice gave me my first bike, hers, complete with basket on the front. I still have a set of encyclop�dias given to me by Great Uncle Harold which have to be the first magazines collected monthly. What I learned from Aunty Edith will always be with me. Their children were my Aunts Jessie, Pauline and Joy and Uncle Jack. I went to school briefly with John, Jack's son.

Anyway I've gone on enough.... it's your turn now, explore memories, ask questions, give information, the choice is yours. Have fun.
